Since I only have one, I hope you like my one and only photo available to share today.
Yesterday I realized that I had all these photos from the new year but hadn't posted them. That stupid thing that happens with me where I loose things, it happened with the camera cords. I thought I had it sussed, that the camera cord I found (under a blanket in the bedroom?) was to the camera with all the photos on it. Or that I'd gotten the ones off the other camera before the cord went AWOL.
Apparently not.
I went in iPhoto just now and nowhere to be seen were the other images. Annoying. And totally my own bad. I mean, I have a closet and a space in that closet for just this sort of thing! In fact, I cleaned it out a bit the other day to remove the duplications of a few things so that I had less mess to untangle when I needed a camera cord or iPod charger.
Anyhow, because I don't want to tell you about this one thing without the photo to proove it is true, and because I'm a bit tired and really just felt I needed to post and reassure people I'm alive... you get that one photo up there.
Which you should like.
It is Yarntini 100% merino sock wool, Last Call Purple, bought over a year ago and selflessly being knitted into something for my mother. Who will probably never wear it, just show it off to anyone who enters her home. And who probably won't see this post or be told about it by my father (Pappy: don't tell her!) since she's without internet in her Seattle home (by choice, I'm sure she'd like you to know).
Not only am I knitting for another person - I'm using a pattern for the second time! Fancy that, eh? (I know I'm not Canadian or Kiwi, but putting the American equivalent of 'huh?' in my writing there makes me feel it looks dumb. 'Eh?' it is then.)
Oh, and it's on 3.5mm Addi Lace Turbos which smell like US pennies. So for the moment I'm using them and telling myself I miss pennies and the smell of them. And dreaming of splurging on more Signature Needle Arts Circulars. I mean, for the sake of all that is woolly - they have a set of the gorgeous things now!
Though maybe I'll just allow myself to get some regular Addi Turbo circulars from the North Island knitting place I found out carries them.
