The knitting on these was completed in January.
The ends were woven in while waiting for Michelle's ferry to arrive in Picton.
Least I thought they were.
Last week or so I went to snip all the ends and turn them inside out and take a photo.
Only, not ALL the ends had been woven in. Yet the had ALL been snipped.
Yikes.
It was at the join for the thumb that I'd mucked up. I snipped the thread of the joined yarn and once my mistake had been done and recognized, on both mittens of course, I could only laugh hollowly and set the things aside.
Today I set it in my mind that I would repair the brand new things. Such a sad reality - brand new and needs repair? What, did I buy the things at a common shop!?
See that? Yeah, monstrous.
Thankfully, I am clever, and I have to fix things at work all the time (let's not talk about it).
A little bit of this view and I was good as done.
Pattern: Skinny Mittens - coming soon!
Yarn: Posh Elinor Sock in 'Chinese Whispers'
Notes: I've had this in stash since 2010 and used for this project as UILI01, the Stash & Burn Podcast year long stash down challenge.
Your mittens are gorgeous!

Love the color of the mittens and the way they turned out. Sorry about the mishap -- I feel ya.
